Apothecary Bottle 2
These faceted stoneware bottles are finished in a smooth, creamy satin glaze , and were inspired by 18th century Apothecary bottles. This particular one has a Stoneware Stopper .
I like the idea of replacing plastic bottles on bathrooms and kitchen shelves with them. They also make lovely vases for a single stem or as a collection they look great on a window sill or mantel.
Each was hand thrown, turned and then hand carved with facets . It was glazed and then fired to 1210 degrees. They are each one of a kind….
