Large Oxblood Red Stoneware Platter 1
This is a a unique handbuilt stoneware platter, using clay the colour of burnt umber. It is finished in a gorgeous Oxblood red glaze that has amazing depth to it, like the bubbling core of the earth. It has a white rim that breaks like snow on hot coals.
It has an uneven organic feel to it, and its dramatic deep reds will bring out the colour of fruits and salads perfectly , and make a beautiful centrepiece to any table.

This piece is handbuilt, bisque fired , glazed and fired to 1240 degrees in oxidation. The dimensions and surface are deliberately uneven, and this piece is one of a kind.
It could be put in a dishwasher but its best to wash it by hand.
