Creamy White Stoneware Lidded Jar
This little stoneware storage jar have been glazed in a smooth creamy white glaze , with a very simple knobbed lid. It has Shinogi style lines carved into the clay . It could be used for jam, salt, sugar or tea on the table. They match the Apothecary bottles in the same glaze I make.
They were hand thrown, turned, glazed and fired to 1210 degrees in oxidation.
Being handmade they have subtle variations in the surface and size.
They are best washed by hand and as they are handmade they have very subtle variation in surface and size….
